The BachBusMgt aims to produce ‘business-ready’ graduates who have acquired knowledge and experience of all aspects of contemporary business and management practice. Designed to be attractive to students in a competitive marketplace, the course offers both depth and breadth; from traditional subjects such as management, economics, business law, marketing and information systems through to more specialist subjects such as international business, project management, strategic management, business analytics, and ethics, governance and corporate sustainability.
The Diploma of Business is a nested course within the Bachelor of Business (Management) degree and is designed to meet the requirements of an AQF level 5 qualification. Students who have already taken courses up to the Certificate level with Foundation Education, or in fact any provider, may find this course a valuable pathway to further their studies. Once students have completed this course they will have the opportunity to use the credit points accrued to advance through the nested program.

The Diploma of Business is an 8 subject course conducted over 2 trimesters in face-to-face delivery mode. It is designed to be completed, full-time and under maximum study load, in under 1 year. Candidature under a part-time or reduced-load enrolment mode can be completed in 1.5 years. The course consists of 8 core business subjects and there are no electives.
The Diploma aims to produce work-ready graduates who have acquired a fundamental understanding of contemporary business practice. It introduces a range of business and management functions through core subjects covering management, economics, accounting, marketing, data analysis, information systems, and business law. It also offers graduates the opportunity to develop their verbal and written communication and interpretation skills through a subject in business communication.
