Bachelor of Business (Management)
The Bachelor of Business (Management) is a nested degree designed to meet the requirements of an AQF level 7 qualification. For students, who for various reasons are not able to complete the full degree, the option of exiting with a Diploma (Level 5) or an Associate Degree (Level 6) is available.
Comprised of 24 subjects, the course has nine core business subjects, ten management major subjects, and five electives. It is conducted over six trimesters and is designed to be completed, full-time and under maximum load, in three years. Candidature under a part-time or reduced-load enrolment mode can be completed in six years.
The BachBusMgt aims to produce ‘business-ready’ graduates who have acquired knowledge and experience of all aspects of contemporary business and management practice. Designed to be attractive to students in a competitive marketplace, the course offers both depth and breadth; from traditional subjects such as management, economics, business law, marketing and information systems through to more specialist subjects such as international business, project management, strategic management, business analytics, and ethics, governance and corporate sustainability.
